From the beginning, we have focused on the future, and what is to come, particularly with the rise of Artificial Intelligence [AI].
Which means that we have also focused on the impacts of AI on the future of human work and what that means for the future of human meaning.
From the epochal transitions from hunting and gathering to agriculture to the industrial revolution to the advent of computers and the Internet, work has always been the primary provider of most human meaning. This has been true because, whatever changes have occurred, there has always been human work.
That era is about to change.
In the lifetimes of most who are reading these words, what we have – in one way or another – considered human work will be obsoleted and eliminated by artificial intelligence.
We do not know what all the consequences of this change may be, but we know that one will be a crisis is the human meaning that has been derived from work… human work.
This presentation describes what we think will happen, and why E-ONE is the right response.
